A Note from Whitney, PTO President

Thank you to those who made it out to their first PTO meeting this past Tuesday. We shared lots of great things to report and hope you learned a few things. It was nice to see the PILOTS come in and provide us with a little insight into their program. Hope to see you again this fall at one of the meetings, usually the first Tuesday of the month at 7:45am.

Next fall marks the 20th anniversary of Sonoran Sky. We’ve formed a committee that will help plan and organize the event. It will be a joint committee with the involvement from teachers, staff, PTO and our parent community. Interested in helping, email me.

A HUGE thank-you to our fabulous hospitality chairpersons Anita Elton and Vicki Klann, their hospitality committee and our room parents for a fabulous week of Teacher Appreciation. Our teachers were pampered with all kinds of treats and goodies. Thanks to everyone for making our teachers feel so special!

Be on the look out for a few new things that will be coming to Sonoran Sky next year – used book fair in the fall and a spring talent show are in the works! Hard to believe the end of the school year is almost here, 9 more days!
