Girls and Gears
Mondays, 3:20 – 4:20pm; Grades: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Mrs. Meadows (Dunn), Room 550
This class is for girls who love to use their imaginations to build and create. This class is an “unstructured” class meaning students will build and design based on their own ideas for each class. We will begin each class with a story or quick video about design, engineering or construction. We will then discuss what each student has in mind for building that day. Students may work independently or collaborate with others. Students will use Legos, blocks, tiles, k’nex and other classroom items to engineer and design what is in their imagination! Please make sure your child comes with a snack each day!
Cost: $105.00; 9 weeks: 2/3/20 – 4/13/20; *No Class: 2/17, 3/16*
