Welcome to the Sonoran Sky PTO.
The most supportive and engaged Parent Teacher Organization you could find.
The Sonoran Sky Parent Teacher Organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to furthering the foundational elementary education of the students enrolled at Sonoran Sky Elementary School in Scottsdale, Arizona. There are no membership fees to join the SSKY PTO; therefore every parent and guardian of every student and every teacher, administrator and staff member at Sonoran Sky is automatically a member with an equal voice in our direction and decisions.
To fully support the vision, mission, motto, and core beliefs of the Sonoran Sky administration, we call on and rely on each and every community member to dedicate themselves and their family to these mutual goals. We all have unique talents and abilities and we appreciate all the ways you invest in our community.
As we progress throughout the school year, our decisions are held up to the criteria of supporting these objectives.

We are still in need of just a few amazing members of our community to join the PTO in various capacities. We welcome all who are interested to reach out (catch us at school drop-off, send an email, leave a note on our cars...whatever works!), as we are thrilled to get movin' on some new (and bring back the old!) community events and initiatives for '22-23. But we honestly can't do it without you.
Current available PTO positions:
Chair, Team Thunderbird Fundraising Campaign - Oversee all donation campaign efforts to increase awareness and encourage participation
Chair, Talent Show - Your time to shine as Ed McMahon! Help us coordinate and put on a talent show that both students and the community love to participate in. Event will be held in mid-November.
Chair and Co-Chair, Hospitality for '23-24 School Year (Elected PTO Positions) - This position will shadow (assist as needed) the current Hospitality Chairs and can be voted in in May '23 to take the reins!
