CLASSROOM SUPPORT FUNDS ("CSF")
Classroom Support Funds (also referred to sometimes as "CSF") are collected by the PTO for use ONLY by the grade-level you've chosen. Through Classroom Support Funds, you're funding teacher activities at each grade level, including the purchase of various classroom materials and resources for celebrations that the teachers anticipate hosting throughout the year!
Support requests vary by grade level depending on the teachers' planned activities, but generally speaking, this payment will fund grade-level activities and experiences, such as:
- "Grade-Level Allocation" Teacher-Requested funds (to be used for class parties, rewards, etc.)
- Teacher Start-up costs ($200/teacher to be spent on specific classroom needs)
- Teacher Appreciation funds, managed by Room Parents ($150/teacher covers cost of birthday, holiday, and end-of-year gifts)
- Additional Curriculum/Software Subscriptions (this year will provide for Learning A-Z, Brain Pop, Xtra Math, Continental Math League, Math Olympiad, Stock Market game)
- Miscellaneous Grade-level Experience (Sing America Sing, PILOTS)
- Grade-level T-Shirts
- Homework Planners/Student agendas
- “SSKY Writers” Customized Books
