Spring Garden Lunch is a beloved event unique to Sonoran Sky and our Wonderland Garden. Parents sign up to bring lunch for themselves and their child and join them for their regular lunch time in the school garden for a lunch date. Following lunch you are invited to shop the scholastic book fair together.

In order to continue with garden lunch we MUST have 8 volunteers at all times. Garden lunch is such a fun event for the parents and kiddos, but it is quite disruptive to the school. In order to minimize this, and after much work with Ms. Fowler, we have come up with a plan to be successful. But this requires VOLUNTEERS! All slots during garden lunch are separated by grade lunch times. It is imperative that you DO NOT sign up during your own child’s lunch time. You can sign up for the slots before and after your child’s lunch time to help us out the most! If we do not have the minimum number of volunteers signed up to help with garden lunch the night before, we will be forced to cancel the event. Please help if you are able!!

We will need volunteers for other times as well, but in an attempt to increase our volunteer’s availability during Garden Lunch, we have decreased the number of slots per day.

We’ll be showcasing hundreds of incredible student art pieces—and we could use a few extra hands to bring it all to life. Volunteers are needed throughout the day to help pin artwork onto display panels, assist with set-up before the event, and help with cleanup afterward. Sign up to stop by during a time slot that works for you!

Sonoran Sky PTO is looking for some help unloading our Kindergarten friends (and their siblings!) next year and making sure they make it to the playground entrance ok.  It's easy: wave hello, open the car door to the back seat, help unlock children from their carseats, help as they hop down out of the car, make sure their backpack and waterbottle doesn't get left behind, and make sure the car door gets closed gently behind them.... and then watch as they enter through the playground gates. :) Become a friendly face to our littlest SSKYers along the way!  If you can commit to a shift at least one day per week, please sign up below.  We appreciate it!
