Team Thunderbird

The Sonoran Sky Elementary PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that invests significant funds into our school each year, beyond the minimum funding provided by the state of Arizona.

The Sonoran Sky PTO asks families to make a "Pay-What-You-Wish" contribution to the Team Thunderbird capital campaign in support of school-wide programs, such as:

PTO-sponsored events (Bingo night, Trunk or Treat, Carnival, Dance, Science Fair, STEM Night, Talent Show, Art Walk, etc.),
Wonderland Classroom Instruction,
Wonderland Garden and Pond maintenance,
Artists-in-Residence,
Teacher/Staff Hospitality,
Specials Enhancement,
Specials and Support Staff Start-up Funds and Teacher Appreciation,
Principal’s Fund, Nurse’s Fund, Custodian Fund,
Additional Grant Requests from Teachers/Staff,
Art Masterpiece,
PTO Operating Costs,

If your family is in a position to support Team Thunderbird, we hope you will consider making a donation by following the link below to the funding level of your choice. Contributions of all sizes are immensely appreciated. (Minimum suggested support is $50 per student)

Team Thunderbird Levels of Support

Gold Medalist: $1,000

Adults will be invited to a participate in an exclusive Principal’s Circle luncheon held in the spring. Your family name will be added to a permanent art installation in the Wonderland outdoor classroom honoring your support. You will also receive all the SSKY swag mentioned below to show the community your Thunderbird pride!

Silver Champion: $500

Your family name will be added to a permanent art installation in the Wonderland outdoor classroom honoring your support (plus “Team Thunderbird” car magnet and SSKY swag bag with goodies).

Bronze Hero: $250

Receive a “Team Thunderbird” car magnet and an uber cool SSKY swag bag filled with goodies!

Victory Voter: $100

Receive a “Team Thunderbird” car magnet and a Sonoran Sky beach bag!

Champion Cheerleader: $50

Receive a stylish “Team Thunderbird” car magnet to show your support and Thunderbird pride! **with bonus Sonoran Sky cup!**

If you'd prefer to submit your donation via Zelle or check or submit a custom amount other than one listed, please email treasurer@sskypto.com.

Reminder: Team Thunderbird is separate and distinct from Classroom Support Funds (CSF). CSF provides your classroom teacher with the funds to support classroom specific initiatives, as planned by each grade level.
